American Red Cross Highly Performing Chapter 2008The American Red Cross North Treasure Coast Chapter has been designated a Highly Performing Chapter for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2008.

Sarah Ruwe, Chief Executive Officer of the North Treasure Coast Chapter, says, “we are honored with this selection. It is a credit to our more than 300 volunteers and our staff. Only 38 chapters out of the 720 in the country were selected as a high performing chapter. We are the only one in Florida. Six standards including readiness, service delivery reach (in Health and Safety and Community Disaster Preparedness) as well as fundraising and financial stability are used to evaluate American Red Cross Chapters.

Thank you to everyone, without whom this chapter would not be successful. The American Red Cross North Treasure Coast Chapter helps the residents of Indian River and St. Lucie Counties with services to prevent, prepare and respond to emergencies through offices in Vero Beach and Port St. Lucie.
