Devastation in Haiti

The earthquake in Haiti has caused destruction on an unimaginable scale, and the number of lives lost exceeds 200,000, with at least one million people left homeless. Recovery efforts will take years.

The American Red Cross is sending funds, staff and supplies to help support international relief efforts. Read the Red Cross blog for updates on the crisis in Haiti. Your donation to the International Relief Fund can help the Red Cross meet the massive challenges of this catastrophic event..

You can also help by texting “Haiti” to 90999 to send a $10 donation to the Red Cross, through an effort backed by the U.S. State Department. Funds will go to support American Red Cross relief efforts in Haiti.

Meet the Lucky Drawing Winner!

Pat Brennan (on right, with Eileen Halatyn, Manager of our St. Lucie County office) of Port St. Lucie won the Emergency Response Kit in a drawing at A Taste of Italy event held recently. Everyone who attended contributed to Haiti relief efforts. Thanks to all those who participated.
